History of the estate and details of surronuding area

The estate, Domaine de Savignoux, is situated in Puy d’Arnac, a small, picturesque village

of 270 inhabitants well known for its bell tower and overlooking the South of la Corrèze.

Within Puy d’Arnac also is La Cafoulière, a wonderful site with a great view and the departure
point of a spectacular 7 km walk.

The Domaine de Savignoux, is 2.5 km from the village, situated at the end of a private road in the middle
of a lush green valley. Originally, the Domaine de Savignoux was a vineyard before the phyloxera blight
destroyed the vines. Its wine was destined for the Vatican and the Monks of Avignon Abbey.

The family house was fully refurbished in 2012 converting it into a holiday house.
